Product Review "Wicked Kitchen Hot Burrito"
The last week has been difficult for me unfortunately. I have been feeling tired, and also had a chest infection. So had to take some time out of here, and get some rest, chilling, relaxing and just catching up with lots of TV programs. Food and Nutrition wise that has taken a nose dive. I have been dehydrated, eating lots of chocolate (including the new dark chocolate digestive biscuits) I mean I do not regret it at all, as was just not in the right frame of mind to eat well, however as I am now slightly on the mend I have decided to get back to it slowly but surely. One of the things I have done is measured myself including recording my waist measurement, weight, hips, biceps, and stomach. This is recorded and in in three months time will record this again to see if there is any difference and progress That is for a future blog post, (the importance of keeping records regarding health)
Another thing I am doing is to get back to the meal planning, healthy eating etc. As you know I enjoy cooking and have posted various meals here over the years. But I do love a takeaway now and again. This time I bought the Hot Burrito, as I was definitely not in the mood to cook. It costed £3 so not cheap, however it it is packaged quite nicely, just pop it in the microwave for 4 minutes, then ready to eat. No need to swap it into a microwavable plate, as the paper is microwave suitable, ( I hate items where I have to put it in a suitable microwave safe container, more washing up ha ha ) It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, it contains mainly vegetables and rice. Even though it states it is hot, I would say it is definitely not spicy at all, not even the slightest. I would say that it is packed full of flavour including very mild spices. This is one of my favourite products from the wicked kitchen range. It is even ideal as a lunch or a snack, but I have it as a meal, and then have a dessert afterwards. I would definitely recommend this as a treat, because it is expensive, the size is small, personally smaller than a sausage roll from a popular sausage roll shop. I am going to try other healthy takeaway meals and review them here, it is something that I am enjoying at the moment so far .
Yay for the vegan and vegetarian options! I love a good spicy treat. Too bad it’s not spicy like you stated, but as long as it’s flavorful, hot sauce can be added. I wonder if Wicked Kitchen will ever expand to the US? We have “Beyond Meat” here which I believe is in some UK supermarkets.
